I read the blog today, out of curiosity and found out that Tony is going to have a minor surgery on Thursday. Tony, I wish you good luck and hope that everything goes well!
I would like to ask Ahmad about his IELTS, did you achieve the band required or you are still trying? Kwala, I know you booked yourself for another test and for that I wish you the best luck besides your hardwork.
Firas, I appreciate your comments and your English Knowlegde, it is always a pleasure to read your comments and I am really happy that I can still be part of the IELTS community.

It is very heartening to see how the people who value this blog make an effort to keep in touch with each other...
I imagine that Ahmed is 'girding his loins' for another attempt at IELTS and will NOT 'shoot himself in the foot' by making daft grammar mistakes and over-elaborate sentences in his written work. Good luck Ahmed and all the IELTS 'champs'.

Dear ‘IELTS’ associates,
I think we all share the wish of our “Captain’s” quick recovery and return of his to the BLOG. I think I should say: quick recovery and return rather than saying “return of his” but some times I like to devise expressions without knowing whether it is right grammar formation or not.
Captain, what do you thing? Was it right grammar?
Furthermore, can we say when writing an essay the following paragraph:
In this essay I’m going to weight up the “pros and cons” of this subject…….
PROS and CONS? Can we say that?
